Learn about the 5 components of Emotional Intelligence: Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy and Social skills. Extend this understanding to the emotional intelligence of Teams.

MODULE SYNOPSIS :

For any dynamic team that is going for growth, conflicts are not only inevitable, they are a necessary part of the creative process towards game-changing revelations and revolutionary ideas.

As such, teams and leaders should not be looking to suppress or eliminate conflict, but rather to flip it from a negative, potentially damaging situation, to a positive event which will produce winning solutions for all parties involved, and valuable new gains for their organization.

In this module, participants will become aware of their conflict resolution style, learn techniques to move from negative to neutral, learn the strategies which work best for different types of conflict, and learn to find win-win-solutions in every situation. 

Finding a win-win solution may sound easy, but the vast majority of the time, such solutions are “lazy compromises”, masquerading as wins. Developing a true win-win often requires out-of-box thinking, multi-dimensional approaches, and   creativity. These are all soft skills which require awareness, learning and practice, which this module provides.

COMMUNICATION - PRESENTATION & FACILITATION (8 HOURS)

MODULE SYNOPSIS :

For all of us who have sat cringingly through a poor presentation, or slept through a boring one, we know that good presentation skills help to bring good ideas and new ventures to life. When an audience is impressed with a presentation, usually within the first two minutes, they are far more likely to buy-in to its content.

The first part of our module teaches our audience about the features of strong, influential and memorable presentations, and allows them to practice and hone these skills. 

The second part of the module focuses on facilitation skills, with the aim that audience members should become comfortable with, and competent at, running engaging and productive meetings and discussions back at their workplace. 

Facilitator-run sessions are better-managed, imbued with clear thinking through the use of smart tools and techniques, and enjoy good participation and buy-in. The more of your team can play this facilitator role at meetings, discussions and workshops, the more productive, inclusive and innovative your business will be!

TEAMWORK - TEAM CHARTER (8 HOURS)

MODULE SYNOPSIS :

The best way to inspire high performance within your team, is to ensure clarity and buy-in amongst all members, on the team’s Mission, Goals, Roles & Responsibilities, Resources, Values, Behaviours and Actions for the coming year.

We guide teams to create their Team Charter, capturing all of these thoughts, in a physical form to bring back to their workplace!

LEADERSHIP - COACHING & MENTORING (8 HOURS)

MODULE SYNOPSIS :

Low staff motivation is a common complaint by companies. Even companies with good compensation, working conditions, and HR practices, will often complain of staff “just clocking in the hours”, and “not willing to go the extra mile”.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a well-accepted model of what human beings need, in order to feel happy and motivated. It follows that companies which are able to help their employees fulfill all 5 levels of need through their work, will have the most motivated and loyal of employees.

While good managers ensure that the Level 1, 2 and 3 needs of their team members are met, inspiring leaders focus more on their team members’ Level 4 and 5 needs, i.e. those which deal with their development and growth.

EXECUTION - CLEAR THINKING & PROBLEM SOLVING  (8 HOURS)

MODULE SYNOPSIS :

In a world where the pace of change is accelerating, organizations need to constantly innovate and up-grade, or they will fall behind.

This is true for each individual as well. The abilities to do Complex Problem-Solving and Creative Thinking are not only the most desired competencies for workers of this new age, they are the key human skills which sets us apart from, and ahead of the machines which are increasingly taking over human jobs.

In the Clear Thinking part of this module, the audience reviews amazingly common examples of unclear thinking, learns the steps towards better thinking, and starts to rewire their brains towards becoming a true clear and critical thinker.
